20/3/2008 - Summer Royal Horse Show 2008 - What a Show !

'Rosedale Simone' made her show ring debut with great success. She won a strong yearling filly class and then went on to be named Champion Youngstock Filly.

'Mandaley Pure Silk' continued her success from Barastoc by winning Supreme Led Australian Saddle Pony Led and Reserve Ridden and the topped of a fantastic she being named Champion Ridden Riding Pony.

'Newington Infinity' placed second in a strong led class in the RP ring and then went on to win her 12.2hh ridden RP class.

Early in the day she made us very proud carrying her tiny passenger around in the first ridden fautlessly.

Langtree Chanel placed second in her newcomer class.

All in all our team had a higly successful show, we thank all those who helped us and especially The Stewart Family for entrusting us with Silk for the season, and again, Christine Comley for offering us the lease on such a divine filly like Simone.

19/2/2008 - Home from a very sucessful Barastoc Horse of the Year show.

Saturday saw Langtree Chanel was named Runner Up Newcomer Small Pony of the year, she was piloted by Miss Rose Mc Evoy. Rose did a fantastic job and is looking forward to riding her again for us.

Saturday night saw Mandaley Pure Silk compete in the Large Pony International Challenge in indoor 2 under UK judge, Mr David Dixon. The atmosphere was electric and she coped wonderfully well. We were thrilled to win such a strong Class as were her owners, the Stewart Family of Mandaley stud.

Were were equally as happy when 'Castleton Velvet Rose' was called forward for Runner Up, being that she is out of our mare, Heiress of Astral.

Sunday saw the open classes and Silk made the Final 10 line up. Again we were wrapped to see 'Velvet Rose' be named Runner Up Open pony of the Year.

A million thankyous to our team of people who helped us tirelessly all weekend. Thanks for your support and help its greatly appreciated.

Another happy moment at Barastoc was to see Wilowcroft Chance Encounter place Runner Up in the International Challenge with new owner and rider Jamie Carson. He went beautifully and we are extremely happy for them both.

26/1/2008 - We attended our first show for the season, EFA Open Horse at Werribee Park. This was the first show our newcomer 12.2hh pony, Langtree Chanel has attended. She thrilled us by winner the novice, open and then Champion under Mrs Haynes (S.A). She coped extremely well and we look forward to taking her to Barastoc next month. Mandelay Pure Silk won her open class and went Reserve Champion.

We were thrilled to see 'Chance Encounter' win with his new owner/rider Jaimie Carson.

1/1/2008 - After another extremely successful year in 2007, although cut short due to EI, we look forward to continued success in 2008. We have some exciting to our show team this year.

We look forward to showing:

The Beautiful 'Mandaley Pure Silk' for the Stewart Family, in Lauren's absence O/S.

The Newcomer 12.2hh Langtree Chanel for Merivale Park.

The highly successful 12.2, Newington Infinty.

Some Youngstock for Fluerdlene Stud to mention a few.

We are also very excited about the arrival of the stunning 'Rosedale Simone' to our show team. This amazing filly will be shown in hand and under saddle as well as breeding a foal for us whilst with us. We are very grateful to Christine Comley for leasing this filly to us.

Having purchased her mother the divine 'Colbeach Simone' for LJS Riding ponies many years ago it will be a thrill to have some of this blood in our breeding program.

We wish Jamie Carson all the best with him in the future.

Jamie, Squiggle and Bree

It was a very sad day when he finally left us for good, after being with us for 5 years. He has been a sensational horse in all respects and he will be dearly missed by all of us.

Many thanks to those who have sponsored Squiggle, Hi Form Australia, we credit him looking so well on their products. Also thanks to those who have supported him, ESH and Roxi J Accessories through his career. We look forward to working again with you all in the coming season.

Unfortunately she was not meant to stay with us for long but we feel she was one of the most stunning fillies we have had anything to do with. Tess all decked out at her new home.
